Nora

Mixer Upper

This is Nora’ first year at the Mix. Nora is a grade 12 writing major, who loves writing (haha), this is her fourth year at lfas. They love reading writing, cooking, and movies. Her favourite tv show is community, she loves sitcoms. Nora wanted to explore more creative art forms, and open new doors. She also wanted a fun extracurricular activity and was convinced by Mantei.

Amelia

Mixer Upper

Amelia is a grade twelve student who has been at LFAS for three years. This is her second year in The Mix and she is excited to be back and making videos. She loves to make vlogs and videos showing the lives of students. She is also a writing major. She is excited to make lots of videos in her last year at The Mix.

Claire W

Mixer Upper

This is Claire Won, she is in grade 12 and is a new photography major this year. She has attended Langley Fine Arts since grade 1 and has an endless affinity for the school. She enjoys being creative and exploring new art mediums which is the reason she has joined the mix for the first time this year. She plans on working hard in the mix and is excited for the year ahead!

Analee

Mixer Upper

This is Analee & it’s her first year in the mix. She is a grade 12 writing major. She enjoys hanging out with Weesa and going shopping at aritzia. She only joined the mix because Mantei begged her and promised her a talk show with her best friend Demarcus. She’s ready to slay and cause CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kelly

This is the second year that Kelly has joined “The Mix.” Kelly is in grade 10, and she is in dance major. She really enjoyed filming the video and edited it! So, she is so happy to join the Mix again this year :)

Alexandra

Mixer Upper

This is Alexandra, she’s a grade twelve writing major who’s been in the mix for four years. Ever since she started in 8th grade she has been super invested since. Alex is hopping to pursue a career in communications due to her time in the mix and eventually pursue her life down a similar avenue.

Sofia

Sofia is a grade 11 photo major who is a senior mixer she has been in the mix since grade 8. She hopes this year she will become a mix editor. She loves making day in the life videos as well as making personal documentary style videos.

Bella

Mixer Upper

Bella has been in the Mix since Grade 8, meaning this is her 5th and last year in the Mix. She is a Grade 12 art major, and absolutely loves it. Bella enjoys editing videos of all the major shows around the school. Even though it’s her last year, she’s super excited to see what everyone creates.

Sam

Mixer Upper

Sam’s the best! He’s one of the two grade 11s in The Mix! He’s also a music major who plays multiple instruments, mainly the Tenor Sax! He’s a martial arts enthusiast, basketball lover, and baseball enjoyer. Sam has a dog and two cats. Sam is Mantei’s favourite student. Sam loves making and eating food.

Sofia

Sofia is a grade nine art major. She was originally a drama major but later switched to art. Even though she hasn’t been in art for a full year, yet she is enjoying it very much. Sofia’s favorite music genre is rap and indie rock. She loves listening to music on the bus ride to school or whenever she has time. Sofia is nervous but also excited for this school year.

Beth

This is Beth’s first year in the Mix. She is a grade 9 art major, and has a hobby for writing, reading, and taking long naps. She joined Langley Fine Arts this year, and has loved the new experience, especially this class where she got to meet so many new faces (And her favourite teacher ever). Beth hopes to continue in the Mix for the years to come and is excited for the new adventures she will embark on along the way.

This is Heidi's first year in the MIX and she's looking forward to being a part of the MIX community. Heidi is a grade 9 drama major who also spends a lot of time in the music department. She plays guitar, sings and writes, and thinks she's okay at that. Heidi is typically a quiet person at first but kind at the core.

Jude

Jude is a grade 9 drama major and has been at LFAS since Grade 1. Jude loves acting on stage. Jude has 3 cats and has a lot of energy at times. Jude’s hobbies include air cadets and biking. He’s looking forward for his first year in the mix this year!

DeMarcus

Yo what’s good club? that’s DeMarcus in da Mix. Call him Kanye cuz he thinks he’s from WESTSIDE, he’s been ballin his whole life and he loves most sports. His favourite food is hawt dawgs. He majors dance cuz he likes to break it down and get sturdy. He’s eager for his second year in the mix doing what he loves; interacting with his friends, especially Sam!

Kit

Mixer Upper

Kit is a grade 10 drama major who joined the school 2 years ago. Kit joined The Mix program in Grade 9. Kit has joined the Mix to hone in their skills in editing camera work. Kit has also joined to give them an opportunity to converse with more people that they normally wouldn’t have met. Kits hobbies include playing card games at competitive levels, Kit also enjoys working out in their spare time.
